This unit helps children understand that Jesus is more than just a man—He is the Son of God. He wants to forgive their sin and guide them in their everyday life as they trust in Him. Watch your students grow in faith and understanding from week to week.
This unit focuses on the lives of the prophets Elijah and Elisha, highlighting the miracles God performed through them to show His amazing love and power. Help your children understand God’s love and power are still evident today.
Children will explore how God faithfully watches over those who belong to Him. They will be challenged to live honestly, to trust in God’s care, to honor God with their choices, and that God wants them to be a part of His plan.
The children will discover that God is creative, awesome, loving, Holy, and He seeks to have a relationship with people. Though His creation failed, He provided a way for them to stay connected to Him.
Children will examine accounts of our compassionate, sacrificing, and resurrected Savior. By hearing of Jesus’ interaction with people and his victory over death, their confidence and trust in Him will increase.
As your children journey with God’s people, these lessons will help develop their faith in God’s ability to love, guide, and protect them in their everyday lives; and encourage them to love and obey God with all their hearts.
As the children observe how the successes and failures of these kings were connected to their relationship with God, they will be invited to draw close to God themselves.
This unit will help your children understand the church is a living representation of God’s love for this world and they are a part of it. They will be encouraged to live as the early Church believers did.
